Okay, yes. You got me! Nagini is the large female snake in Harry Potter and no I’ve not been working with her. I am an Animal Communicator but no, I don’t speak Parseltongue! I’ve been understanding her messages, ‘The Snake’ and its energy of late. Due to it’s sometimes dangerous nature and portrayal in religious and cultural settings, the snake is a creature that can bring displeasing connotations with it. Therefore working with Snake Energy comes with its challenges. When a snake shows up it means that you are about to go through some significant personal changes, so intense and dramatic that an old self will metaphorically die as a new self emerges. This transition is often very painful emotionally, shedding ones own skin. Peeling away and exposing things that hold you back so that you are able to emerge cleansed and ready to move on in a stronger, more connected direction. When working with Snake Energy it allows us to understand the process of major life or developmental transitions. Usually these are so powerful that it requires us to shed a lot of attachments, especially to our old lives and past identities. This can often mean cutting people away, setting new boundaries and understanding that where you used to be isn’t where you are now. Certain emotions that come with these experiences no longer serve you and this exposing time allows us to remove these ties. When you go through this difficult series of initiations, you understand the importance of death and rebirth. Sometimes we have to hit the pause button on life and really feel the process of this shedding. We must truly feel the pain wash away and understand where it affects us in our lives. If we fight or push down emotions that are trying to surface at this time, it will only prolong the process. It has to come out. Grief is a huge part of this. Grief is an emotion for loss. Grieve for the way you thought your life would turn out, grieve for the people who cannot continue on your journey with you, grieve for the person you no longer are. These aspects of your life no longer serve you. Deal with it now, avoiding this process will not do you any good. Send it love and light, appreciate it, respect it, FEEL it and then let it go. *** Welcome to the other side. A place of growth. A place of peace.
